1979 M & Z Industrial Supply Ltd. opened its doors and began supplying the oilfield, petrochemical and construction industries with high quality industrial fasteners.
1987 On July 31 — “Black Friday” — a powerful tornado touched down in Edmonton and hit our facility. Not ones to let a little bad weather interrupt our business, we were back up and running by the following Tuesday.
1993 To maintain and replenish our stock levels quickly, we started our own manufacturing company: Strathcona Manufacturing Inc.
2001 To keep up with our company’s growth, we moved into our current building.
2006 We added a warehouse extension, bringing our total square footage up to 64,000.
